Maxon to show its full range at 2009 CV Show
April 2008 saw US tail-lift maker Maxon tell a press conference at the 2008 CV show about its plans to launch the former RSG product range; the Ray Smith Group went into receivership in December 2007. In July, Maxon signed up for a stand at the 2009 show.
'We will bring a complete product portfolio so that everyone can see first-hand what we have accomplished in this short period of time,' said Joe Connley, sales director for Maxon UK Ltd. 'I don’t believe that any other tail-lift company has ever managed to create a full suite of products in less than 12 months.'

BP signs up for 2009 CV Show
Following BP’s successful debut at the 2008 Commercial Vehicle Show, the firm says it has already booked space for the 2009 Show. It says its 2009 CV Show stand will have an even higher profile and may include a guest appearance from one of the UK's leading motoring presenters, who would share tips and insights on green driving.
The firm says it will also offset the travel emissions of each visitor who visits its stand during the CV Show. This move follows the success of a similar idea at the 2008 Show.
'We were delighted with the success of our CV Show debut which proved an ideal platform to highlight the strength of the BP network,' said Ranjeev Baines, BP's UK fuel cards manager. 'We are looking forward to the same level of success, if not more at the 2009 Show.'
