The Commercial Vehicle Show 2014 – THE INDUSTRY LEADER

The Commercial Vehicle Show is the primary sourcing and selling opportunity for the entire UK road freight transport and logistics industry, unrivalled in size, product range and visitor attendance. For operators it is THE meeting place, attracting over 18,000 high quality visitors with serious buying power.

As an exhibitor, the CV Show is the obvious event choice to help you win orders in a competitive market. Above all, the Show provides the truly unique benefit of genuine face-to-face encounters with decision makers who have purposely left their business to call on you!

Undeniably, the CV Show is the largest and most comprehensive road freight transport event staged in Britain, catering for every operator’s requirements from trucks, vans and all types of trailers through to handling equipment, insurers, tyre, telemetry and training providers, fuels and lubricant suppliers – and a whole lot more. To ensure the industry’s wheels keep turning at maximum efficiency, the Workshop sector alone features 100+ stands showcasing everything from OE components and replacement parts to garage and workshop equipment.

At the CV Show, existing and potential customers have come there to see you, a certain buying signal which should not be ignored. Visitors have made an informed choice to attend the Show and can be persuaded to visit your stand. As proven in 2013, the CV Show boasts a very high ‘contact-to-sale’ ratio and frequently provides exhibitors with more leads in just three days than a sales team can uncover in a full year. That’s why hundreds of exhibitors return year after year, as well as new players.

Research at previous CV Shows confirms that three out of four visitors is a fleet owner, director, senior manager or engineer most of which have sole or joint purchasing responsibility within their companies. Incredibly, almost half this high quality audience is exclusive to the CV Show, choosing not to attend any other industry exhibition. For exhibitors, the Commercial Vehicle Show delivers thousands of key buyers that simply can’t be found at any other meeting place.

CV Show space rates are amongst the lowest in Britain, even compared to niche events attracting a fraction of the audience. Joint ownership by three of the industry’s leading membership organisations ensures excellent value, with space costing just £77.00 per square metre*. For those preferring a readymade stand, Octanorm shell scheme costs just £155.00 per square metre*. Exhibitor rates are deliberately calculated to provide affordable access to the thousands of CV Show visitors and a really positive return on your investment.

Same dates, different Shows.
In 2014, for one year only, the “Commercial Vehicle Show” and “Multimodal” will take place simultaneously at the NEC Birmingham. From 29 April to 1 May, the CV Show will occupy halls 3a, 4 and 5 while Multimodal will be in halls 6-8, a 10-15 minute walk away across the Skywalk.

The Shows will be co-located only, so each will continue to have its own identity and ticket registration. With discrete target audiences, there will be no joint events or marketing programmes and even opening hours will be different.

Exhibitors should be aware of order forms, invoices and demands for payment they may have received from a company that calls itself Expo-Guide. Please do not complete any order forms from this organisation or engage in any correspondence from them – you are advised to read the attached Association of Exhibition Organisers' link which gives an explanation about who they are and action taken against them in Austria which has resulted in their ceasing to trade within the EU.

We have been advised that exhibitors have recently received order forms from Expo-Guide Mexico S.C.

Neither Expo-Guide, FairGuide nor Construct Data have any connection with the Commercial Vehicle Show and you should ignore all communications from them.
