Axtec (Axle Weight Technology Ltd) is an independent British company providing a range of products which combat vehicle overloading. It claims to be the only British manufacturer specialising exclusively in axle weighing and has built a reputation for innovative and effective solutions to overloading problems.

Axtec offers a full range of systems to maximise legal utilisation of vehicles, including dynamic, on-board, portable and static axle weighing systems and examples will be on display at CV Show 2012.

The Axtec 4000 Dynamic Weighbridge has been awarded two test certificates: for accuracy to within 0.5% and to within 0.25%. Axtec has been the principal contractor to VOSA since 1966, supplying calibration, testing and maintenance equipment to the majority of the national enforcement network of 67 roadside weighbridges.

Axtec On-Board is suitable for any four-wheeler from 3.5 to 18 tonnes GVW and larger vehicles with air suspension. It can be retro-fitted in about three hours. Sensors fitted to the axles determine accurate axle and gross weights and are displayed to the driver in a simple format on the dash-mounted screen.
