Brigade Electronics to launch wireless camera monitor system at the Show – February 2012
Brigade Electronics’ demonstration truck will be on display at the CV Show with its latest vehicle safety products including a new wireless camera monitor system.
Wireless camera-monitor systems have been on the market for several years but often with poor quality pictures caused by electrical interference from other vehicle systems. New digital technology has significantly improved the stability of picture performance and, following extensive testing, Brigade will launch its new wireless system at the CV Show. The system eliminates the need for suzie cables, saving up to two hours fitment time. A re-pairing button on the receiver allows for interchangeable trailers, making it ideal for multi-drops.
Also on display will be Brigade’s new generation Sidescan with improved reliability and accuracy. This is a four sensor ultrasonic system fitted along the side of a vehicle which detects cyclists and pedestrians in vehicle blind spots, providing an audible warning to the driver and an optional speech warning to the cyclist, “Caution, vehicle turning left”.
