Getting bigger by the day

With eleven weeks to go, over 250 exhibitors have committed to exhibiting at the Commercial Vehicle Show 2011. By the time the doors open on April 12, NEC halls 4 & 5 are likely to be bursting at the seams, with a host of new products and innovations awaiting the inspection of thousands of visitors eagerly anticipating the return of the CV Show after a three year absence.

Fourteen vehicle manufacturers will be there, including the likes of DAF, Mercedes and MAN on the heavy end, and the majority of LCV manufacturers, the most recent of which is VW Commercial Vehicles. On show for the first time will be eco-friendly vehicles designed for today’s operating conditions, including derivatives from major volume manufacturers.

Running a transport business is about operating assets to best effect so hundreds of exhibitors will be on hand to offer their particular products, solutions and ideas. Add to this all the vital ancillary equipment, from tyres to tail lifts, and everything is under one roof, ensuring a day at the CV Show is well spent in a one stop transport supermarket.

Amongst the companies booking their exhibition space this week are Dutch builder Kraker Trailers, forklift manufacturer Toyota Materials Handling, Hako, a leading brand of sweeper, and Ratcliff with their renowned tail lifts. In the Workshop Zone, NGK, Omitec, Crypton and Atlas Copco will ensure that vehicles, large and small, will stay safe and economical to run.
