Come Drive With Me | Commercial Vehicle Show

Are you a lorry driver with a knack for cooking on the road? Join our "Come Drive With Me" competition, where we’re celebrating the creativity and resourcefulness of lorry drivers in the kitchen - or should we say, the cab!

What We’re Looking For:

Whether it’s a hearty fry-up, a fresh salad, or an inventive snack, we want to know what you’re eating while on the road. Show us your culinary skills by capturing a short video of you preparing food in your cab, or snap a photo of the finished dish.

How to Enter:

Film your food prep process in the cab, or simply photograph your delicious creation.
Post it on TikTok or Instagram, and make sure to tag @commercial_vehicle_show (TikTok) @thecvshow (Instagram)
If you prefer, you can send us your video or photo, and we’ll upload it on your behalf.

What’s at Steak? Aside from fame and bragging rights, there’s a £500 prize up for grabs for our winner! Entries will be open until February, when we’ll announce who has taken top honours.

Terms and Conditions

Eligibility
- This competition is open to truck and lorry drivers only. Entrants must be able to verify that they drive commercial vehicles as part of their professional role.
How to Enter
- To enter, participants must create a video or take a photo of a meal they have prepared in their lorry cab. Videos should show the preparation and/or cooking process. Alternatively, entrants may submit a photo of the final dish.
- Entries should be posted on TikTok or Instagram with the tag @CommercialVehicleShow. If preferred, participants can submit entries directly to the Commercial Vehicle Show, who may upload it on their behalf.
Entry Requirements
- Entries must feature food prepared and cooked by the entrant themselves. Submissions with store-bought or pre-prepared meals that have not been cooked by the entrant will not be considered.
- Participants may submit multiple entries, as there is no limit to the number of submissions allowed per person.
Submission Deadline
- All entries must be received by 31st January 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
Winner Selection and Prize
- One winner will be selected based on originality, creativity, and the appeal of their meal. The winner will be announced in February 2025.
- The winner will receive a prize of £500, which is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for alternative prizes.
Usage Rights
- By entering, participants grant the Commercial Vehicle Show permission to use and display their entry (including video or photo) on social media, the Commercial Vehicle Show website, and other promotional materials.
Disqualification
- The Commercial Vehicle Show reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the eligibility or entry requirements, or that are otherwise deemed inappropriate.
General Terms
- By participating, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
- The Commercial Vehicle Show reserves the right to amend or modify the competition or these terms at any time.
