Introduction to London Hire Ltd.

Established in November 1983, we are a highly respected specialist in vehicle rental and leasing. Over the last 40 years, we have grown our expertise and infrastructure enabling us to provide tailored transport solutions to the public, private and charity sector. Initially working with a handful of clients, we now support a diverse client portfolio including over 50 local authorities and numerous charities as well as private operators.

London hire was founded in response to a need for ‘hassle free’ easily accessible spot rental and contract hire vehicles in London. In more recent years, since 2012, London Hire expanded its reach of services throughout the UK and now have vehicle contracts in multiple areas of the country, including Scotland and Wales. These core objectives have never changed. Starting with a fleet mixed of Cars, Vans and Wheelchair Accessible Buses, we have grown to provide more than 2,000 vehicles nationwide over 1600 of these being wheelchair accessible buses and 140 PTS Ambulances.

Quality has always been the heart of our operation. When our competitors were purchasing cheaper vehicles, we invested in the safest and greenest vehicles always looking to the future needs of our clients. Today our fleet includes modern fleet of wheelchair accessible buses including some of the most advance safety features for the driver and the service users offering a better travel experience for end users and drivers. In addition to this we offer the first available fully electric wheelchair accessible vehicles in the UK.

Why are we different?

The London Hire Group of companies includes London Hire Community Services (LHCS) a Passenger Transport company that offers services to SEN and Adult Disability Transport. Through a mixture of taxi contracts and vehicle and driver operated vehicles, the LHCS brand now operates daily over 500 routes throughout the country. This gives us a daily insight to the daily challenges that your service faces. Therefore, we have a more enlightened approach to the importance of customer safety and the need to minimise downtime on all of our fleet.

Flexibility

We understand that you will require a fully flexible approach to your daily rental needs.
All terms and conditions of hire will apply to any rental period and the same level of service will be applied. The supply will be under the condition that your requirements may increase or decrease during the whole contract period.
