We have been made aware of several US-based list rental companies offering visitor data from The Commercial Vehicle Show. We NEVER sell or rent our data and these are scam sites. Please check our privacy policy for further clarification.

Please be aware of emails with the following suffixes:

 @expolists.com    @b2bshows-list.org   @bookbtb.com   @questleads.com   @accucompany.us   @elistappenders.com   @exposalessquid.us  @eventsalesgrowth.us @staprob2b.com  @globistictec.com   @events-info.com  @acuitydatasolns.com   @reachexecutivesinc.com @streamlineservices..com

or any other unfamiliar source, please note that these businesses are not affiliated with Commercial Vehicle Show LLP, Nineteen Group or The Commercial Vehicle Show. The lists offered are inaccurate and not our data. We urge readers, exhibitors and visitors to be cautious and ask you to contact us if you receive this type of email from unfamiliar sources. Please forward these to team@cvshow.com

Exhibitors may be targeted by companies claiming to be, or work with us. They may use our event branding and appear genuine.  

Organisations such as Event Fair, FairGuide.com/Construct Data Verlag, Expo Guide (Mexico) and International Fairs Directory (Portugal) are targeting exhibitors with their misleading directory services. Unsuspecting exhibitors who sign and return the form are then contracted into a three-year, non-retractable agreement, which could cost you a significant amount of money.

It is, however, not just directories. We have been informed that exhibitors have also been targeted by alleged hotel companies. It is therefore extremely important that you remain vigilant when signing documents seemingly related to The Commercial Vehicle Show.

If you fall victim to this scam:

Our advice is to IGNORE THEM COMPLETELY, and not communicate with them in any way. Writing letters simply confirms that you exist and are available at the address/email address/number they have for you, and therefore payment can be pursued.

1) Report it to your local Trading Standards 
2) DO NOT PAY ANYTHING
3) DO NOT COMMUNICATE WITH THE SCAMMERS even when they threaten legal action
4) Optional: Complain to the receiving bank that their client Expo Guide (or equivalent), is obtaining money by deception.

These organisations have also been known to use debt recovery agencies, the same advice stands for these agencies.

In addition, we have recently been made aware of a bogus list-rental company, PlanetEmailingList, from the USA purporting to hold our visitor data for sale. This is not case, we DO NOT sell vistor data for the Show. Please delete their emails or report as spam. 

• CV Publishing is the official journal for the Show and produces the only OFFICIAL Show Guide. If you are unfamiliar with any title claiming to be part of The Commercial Vehicle Show not listed as a media partner, please proceed with caution.
   
• We have been made aware of a company called ExpoCart falsely claiming to be an official contractor for the Show. They are not one of our official suppliers.
