Digital compliance modules

Novadata’s online digital tachograph analysis solution is highly versatile, offering a suite of optional modules for all aspects of HGV, PCV and commercial vehicle driver reporting and management. These can be purchased as single modules or a comprehensive suite tailored to the operator’s needs.

This digital solution is approved for use by the DVSA Earned Recognition scheme and provides an easy-to-use driver app, as well as a comprehensive real-time on-screen dashboard which allows operators to make daily checks or spot checks on individual drivers and vehicles. It incorporates a detailed driver and depot calendar; provides clearly highlighted infringements so you can take early remedial action; includes a performance module for debriefing drivers either electronically or on paper; and backs all of this with expert technical support. Transport training

Novadata is widely recognised as a leading transport training provider, with a wide range of courses for managers and drivers, delivered by experienced trainers with a professional transport background. Our training centre in Braintree is accredited not only as a training centre, but also as an examination centre for both Transport Management CPC and ADR examinations.

Our courses include Transport Management CPC for both the Road Haulage and Passenger Transport sector, preparing candidates to sit the CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) examinations. Candidates can choose to sit Transport Manager CPC examinations at Novadata’s approved examination centre, or online, using a proctored system.

Novadata is one of the leading providers of periodic Driver CPC training for both LGV/HGV and PCV drivers, and was the first training provider to deliver Driver CPC courses in the UK. We offer a range of DVSA approved courses, developed with a focus on practical knowledge of best practice which drivers can apply in their daily working lives.  

We provide both OLAT and Transport Management CPC Refresher courses for LGV/HGV and PCV sectors. Courses are held either in person at our training centre in Braintree in Essex, or online, using the Zoom platform. Novadata OLAT and Transport Management CPC Refresher courses are often recommended by UK Traffic Commissioners for managers and operators who are struggling with compliance.

Novadata is home to one of the UK’s foremost ADR training centres, offering three-and-a-half-day Core & Packages courses, five-day Core, Packages & Tanks courses, and a one-and-a-half-day Tanks add-on course. We are one of the few transport training providers to provide specialist one-day courses, with corresponding exams, in ADR Class 1 Explosives and ADR Class 7 Radioactives. These specialist Class 1 and Class 7 courses require that candidates already hold an appropriate ADR qualification.  We also provide training for DGSA candidates.

If you have a group of managers or drivers who require transport training, we can also deliver our courses at your own premises or, if you have candidates in multiple locations, we may be able to provide an online course for remote attendance. 

We also provide tachograph training for managers and supervisors, as well as dangerous good awareness training for non-driving support staff.

Specialist transport services

Novadata provides audit services aimed at helping operators to achieve and maintain compliance with UK transport legislation and to prepare for DVSA Earned Recognition membership.

Novadata is an approved auditor for the DVSA’s Earned Recognition scheme, so is ideally placed to provide a support and advice service with a pre-application audit to help operators to make a successful application for Earned Recognition membership.

We also offer an Operator Licence Application Assistance service to help operators to make a successful O Licence application, avoiding the pitfalls and mistakes which can often cause first time applications to be rejected.

Our Transport Systems and Operator Licence Audit forms invaluable preparation for those facing an imminent visit by DVSA inspectors, allowing operators to identify any weaknesses or shortcomings in their compliance before the visit and to put remedial measures in place before any inspection takes place.
