Castrol Launches Three-Tier CV Fluids Range to Simplify Fleet Maintenance
The Castrol’s lubricants are built around understanding real operating conditions and matching them with the right fluids across the on-road truck parc. At the core is the completeness of Castrol’s full fluids range. From engine oils across Ultimate, Enhanced, and Essential tiers, to transmission fluids, coolants, greases, Exhaust Fluids and Break Fluids, Castrol offers a fully aligned portfolio designed to work together across mixed fleets and multiple duty cycles. At the heart of the full fluid range sits Castrol VECTON. Modern trucks generate up to 30% more torque due to advanced engine technologies, increasing operating temperatures and pressures. These harsher conditions accelerate oil oxidation and thickening, increase deposit formation, and deplete acid-controlling reserves—pushing the oil closer to breakdown and reducing its useful life.
VECTON Range is engineered to meet these challenges by
helping to control oxidation, reduce deposits, neutralise harmful acids, and
maintain viscosity at higher temperatures. Covering up to 14 years of parc
range by age.

oil life across a wide range of engine technologies. The extra performance
reserve³ helps fight oil breakdown by controlling oxidation and deposits,
neutralising harmful acids, and maintaining viscosity under increased
thermal and mechanical stress.
- Essential
Range – Castrol VECTON Multi: Products suitable for use in
older fleets, offering trusted Castrol protection and value-focused
performance. Castrol VECTON Multi helps prevent oil thickening and deposit
build-up in critical engine parts, supporting reliable engine performance.
