Castrol Launches Three-Tier CV Fluids Range to Simplify Fleet Maintenance

The Castrol’s lubricants are built around understanding real operating conditions and matching them with the right fluids across the on-road truck parc. As modern fleets face higher loads, temperatures, and performance expectations, Castrol CV moves beyond single product selling to a total fluids solution that can supports uptime, reliability, and cost control.

At the core is the completeness of Castrol’s full fluids range. From engine oils across Ultimate, Enhanced, and Essential tiers, to transmission fluids, coolants, greases, Exhaust Fluids and Break Fluids, Castrol offers a fully aligned portfolio designed to work together across mixed fleets and multiple duty cycles. This can simplify maintenance, reduce complexity, and apply the right level of performance where it matters most—without compromise.

By combining deep technical expertise, OEM alignment, and a comprehensive fluids portfolio, Castrol helps fleets make confident decisions that protect assets today while preparing for tomorrow’s operating demands.

At the heart of the full fluid range sits Castrol VECTON.  Modern trucks generate up to 30% more torque due to advanced engine technologies, increasing operating temperatures and pressures. These harsher conditions accelerate oil oxidation and thickening, increase deposit formation, and deplete acid-controlling reserves—pushing the oil closer to breakdown and reducing its useful life.

VECTON Range is engineered to meet these challenges by helping to control oxidation, reduce deposits, neutralise harmful acids, and maintain viscosity at higher temperatures. Covering up to 14 years of parc range by age.

VECTON offers a solution for fleets old and new. To meet diverse fleet needs, Castrol VECTON is available in three tailored product ranges:

  • Ultimate RangeCastrol VECTON Long Drain: Long Drain and OEM-aligned products range designed to deliver maximum protection, performance, extended drain intervals³, and fuel savings¹ for the latest generation of trucks. VECTON Long Drain with System Pro Technology™ is tested for extended drains of up to 120,000 km² and delivers up to 45% extra performance reserve¹ for longer useful oil life.

  • Enhanced RangeCastrol VECTON Plus: Product range formulated with System Pro Technology™ to deliver enhanced protection and longer useful oil life across a wide range of engine technologies. The extra performance reserve³ helps fight oil breakdown by controlling oxidation and deposits, neutralising harmful acids, and maintaining viscosity under increased thermal and mechanical stress.

  • Essential RangeCastrol VECTON Multi: Products suitable for use in older fleets, offering trusted Castrol protection and value-focused performance. Castrol VECTON Multi helps prevent oil thickening and deposit build-up in critical engine parts, supporting reliable engine performance.

“We’re proud to announce a simplified, consolidated Castrol fleet offer that brings together everything our customers need in one complete solution. By streamlining the range, we’re making it easier for fleets to manage their operations while unlocking greater efficiency, consistency and long‑term value.”
